Resolution criteria
- 2035
- If the Census Bureau's Survey of Construction (or a successor Census housing-starts survey) has added a construction-method category distinguishing additive-manufactured/3D-printed structures by 2035, that category shows 5% or more of new housing units; if no such category exists by 2035, the claim remains unresolved rather than false.
- 2050
- Same test applied to Census construction-method data through 2050 once such a category exists.
- 2100
- Same test applied to Census (or successor federal housing-statistics agency) construction-method data through 2100.
